Pacific Electrical Installations (PEI) believes quality and safety are tied closely together. Completing work in a quality manner increases safety of the operation. Quality assurance governs PEI’s auditing of internal functions from office process to equipment maintenance to overall quality control functions in the field. PEI has a robust quality assurance program, inspection and test plan and quality control process for all types of work ranging from distribution live line work to complex transmission projects. Management strives to continuously improve all aspects of the business through constant communication and trending of quality of work and customer satisfaction.

PEI boasts an extensive occupational health and safety program with a safety management system focused on risk and hazard assessment. PEI crews are trained in communications, identification and mitigation of risk. PEI holds the Safety Certificate of Recognition (COR) for large business through the BC Construction Safety Alliance and Work Safe BC. PEI focuses on continuous improvement with regard to all safety. This is achieved through Joint Occupational Health and Safety Meetings, weekly safety talks, pre-job site hazard assessments, crew risk and hazard assessments, tail board discussions and near miss reporting. All documentation is reviewed by the Safety Manager and Operations to ensure all safety is trending in a positive manner.
